Ignition.my – Sepang Circuit

Last month I was pretty lucky to check out the Ignition.my open track day event. Armed with my trusty iPhone 5 and a phone holder, I set up my phone in multiple cars and thought, why not capture a car going through the track with an almost completely stock setup and with relatively low power.

Thanks to the experience, I have finally uploaded my first ever video to YouTube. Apparently the video editor embedded some funky stuff into the video so I know it can’t be viewed on a mobile device 😦

I was told that the ideal time to achieve would be to hit 2m58s-2m59s with the current make of the car I am using. So far, I am 7 seconds off that time (timed at around 3m05s). I definitely need a little bit more practice there. It was a pity that I didn’t set a time when I was driving the F30 328i around Sepang during the BMW Intensive Drivers Training Course.
