Restricted Movement – Day 1

Completed the first day of working from home during the restricted movement order here in Malaysia. Used a couple of handy tools such as Cisco’s Webex for conferencing and screen sharing and realised that my Sony WF-1000XM3 are really bad for calls.

Son decided that he doesn’t need an afternoon nap so he proceeds to harass both me and my wife the entire time.

Internet connectivity held on so all calls and video conferences were rather smooth and clear.

Ordered food via Grab for lunch at 11am and it arrived within 11.30am. Tried doing that in order to beat the queue.

Water disruption was fixed, kudos to the team who worked hard to resolve the issue.

Wife says that we need certain frozen meats and vegetables to last us through to next week, my purchases of the dry food weren’t enough so I need to figure out a way to get to the supermarket and have as little contact as I can with other people.

Based on news reports and messages on chats and social media, the majority of folks are trying their best but of course, there are stubborn ones who insist on eating out and being in large groups. Doctors and netizens are furious over a case where a guy lied to the doctor saying that he was in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19 just to get an MC.
